Review of Overall Experience

We love our new home. It is everything we hoped it would be. Overall, the quality is excellent and the people were knowledgeable and pleasant to work with.

It was ok. Really hard to rate the quality of the home. Need to live there for a while before I can rightfully give a final rating.

This company was completely negligent and should be avoided at all cost. I do not even have a home after this because of their lapse in communication and negligence.

Review of Overall Experience

My overall experience has been exceptional. This has been an amazing and very enlightening journey, and I'm so grateful for the group of people that were around me assigned and assisting me throughout this process. I am truly thankful for such an amazing experience.

1. We asked for a tile walk-in shower (a picture was on Bobby Alverez computer screen - Red Door website - and a standard shower was installed [our bad for not speaking up - but that never should have happened]. We had asked for a vent hood over the range; we were given a standard vent (this issue was fixed). 2. Brooke was handling our project. She was moved. She said her replacement would contact us - never did. 3. Intercoastal Mortgage: There were occasions we reached out to staff; left messages. No return calls. Much of the process was handled through email (no phone calls saying something was coming. I don't know if you've been through a move, but there is a lot going on and emails can quickly get buried.) 4. Towards the end of this process I really wanted to make it a point for Red Door to change their slogan to remove the Dream Home part. 5. Items for correction did take a long time but it was explained by Dan (our builder) items were on back order. 6. The clearing of the property was unsatisfactory. After the move in I spent 3 days with a metal hand rake pulling up large branches and small tree trunks from the yard where the grass was growing; I produced 9 piles large enough for a small bonfire (pictures available). There was also a small, leftover patch of concrete left at the edge of the property. It should be noted we paid for the hauling of debris. 7. A $400,000 house should feel like a $400,000 house (This is why I answered the question about value and price the way I did). It should be noted during this process the price of lumber shot up about 250% for about a week (May 2022). This bumped our price up. By Jun 2022 the price was below what it was in Apr; did our price come down, no. They happened to purchase all our lumber on that very week? 8. If anyone in Red Door had to pay for an upgrade of about $100,000.00 and did not fully receive their "Dream Home" would you be happy?

Since this was built as a rental property I am not nearly as picky as I would be if this was our home.
