Not a great experience, this is a spec home so we could not make changes, we understood that but were rarely provided with any updates on the progress of the home. Our walk through was rushed and felt like we were more of a bother than a valued customer. Also, most builders provide a small housewarming gift, Richmond American Homes did not. Didn't feel like a valued customer.
Highly positive overall. Looking to possibly purchase another Richmond Home in Alabama due to how well things went with this process.

Be honest and disclose to buyers for missing features. Should do much better workmanship to improve the build quality, again, especially the painting. Should be more transparent for buyers to communicate directly with the cooperate, not always through sales representatives, it took much longer time than necessary via a middle tier.

Sales Rep was wonderful, sales team was helpful getting paperwork to mortgage team, superintendent and staff did not catch building errors - we pointed out several items. At walk there was a painter with a paint brush and can (no drop cloth) touching up what should have been rolled. We were very disappointed upon closing.
