From the design room .. i order a vented hood, the one that they have in the show room, 6 months later they said that they don't do them anymore, and got a cheaper non vented hood, had to change my floor tile cuz they lost the one we picked ,then put the wrong grout color in and denied it was wrong, we had to use a color sealer to fix it. Painted the inside yellow in stead of beige that i had requested, I have repainted sense then. Simmons knowing installed a defected shower with no warranty and the manufacture stopped caring a warranty because they fall apart, so we are stuck with a shower that is already broke. per Simmons it's my problem. we order stainless steel stove and got a black one with a little stainless on it. the yard is full of rocks and the dirt that when it's dry it's harder then concrete you cant dig with a shovel either. I even offer to pay and bring in good dirt if they would take that crap out and was denied. If one of the contractors brake something , like sidewalks,driveways, dirt work,boulders in the wall they don't replace nor hold them accountable. When you buy a new house you can except a few thing to be fixed but NOT having to redo or have a lot of things fixed after you move in. They are real fast to give you a BS answer to your complaint,When you talk to the warranty department they respond back to you as if you are an idiot. Very misleading company,Not trust worthy, no integrity, No quality control at all,and they change vendors in the middle of the build and then want you to change what you purchase or they just put in what they want. I have spoken to two other neighbors and they have had bad experience with Simmons too. they other three houses are rentals. you may have to go outside of Simmons to get thing fixed.
Poor quality and service
It was a great experience. Made my first home purchase real easy and enjoyable through the whole process
We had a plumbing issue in our new home within 1st two weeks. We called Patrick and he was on it and we recd a call from plumber within minutes. The issue was resolved within just a few days.
It was fairly simple and stress free home buying experience with Simmons homes.
My home is full of spiders because of gaps in the front and back doors. Kyle says he can't get ahold of the people to repair them. Daylight is seen through the gaps. One guy came to try and fix. He shimmed the hinges so far they are not setting in slot for the hinges. This gives me great doubt on any other repairs that could be needed during warranty.
