Brett and Sara were absolutely amazing representatives of Stanley Martin since day one! They made us feel comfortable with pursuing a home purchase and were very transparent and communicative throughout the process. Matt was also the same exact way. There was never a time he wasn’t available, and he goes above and beyond to help with any issues dealing with the home. We are appreciative to have a team that feels like family! We love our home so much!
A. We noticed that Stanley Martin contractor/subcontractor did not pay closely attention to the details in suppling/building a house and provide some poor workmanship. B. Although the following items has been corrected, we had some issues with the timing of correction/completion. 1. Automatic lock door is not working properly due to the door slot blockage. 2. Hardwood flooring did not have a full clean to it. 3. Cabinets/drawings were not clean. 4. Three air filters were turned the wrong way for as the correct air flow. 5. Landscaping needs to be repaired or replaced with new ones. 6. Rough edge on the kitchen island and counter. 7. Scratches in kitchen sink, stove, range hood, master bedroom/guest toilets. 8. Master bedroom closet rack is not designed for long clothes. 9. Some windows need cleaning. C. The following items we still have issues with and not corrected as of March 19, 2026. 1. Back door items need to be corrected. 2. Kitchen cabinet items need to be corrected. 3. Master bedroom shower floor tub is experiencing water settlement due to poor drainage need to be corrected.
Prior to moving in was exceptional. But communication has since become more difficult after moving in. There’s some things we need fixed but no one is responding.
Overall, I’ve had a decent experience with purchasing a home with Stanley Martin. During the building process the communication was lacking and I felt a little out of the loop at times. I did have GREAT interactions with Dustin who has represented Stanley Martin in stellar fashion every time I’ve communicated with him.
Linda, Charlie, and Thomas were incredible to work with! They were attentive, welcoming, and truly went above and beyond throughout my first homebuying experience. Linda made the process smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. The townhome is beautifully built with great quality and attention to detail. I’ve already recommended Stanley Martin to friends and family!
From the day my wife and I walked into the model home office to the day of closing the entire process was that of courtesy and proessionalism. Will was courteous, respectful, and knowledgeable throughout the building process nad inforemd us of every milestones through out the process.
