They built us a great house and were very responsive throughout the entire process.
Susan was top notch. Scott our builder was good. The walk thru was ok but too much time on paint touch up w blue tape, details of furnace , plumbing g etc. could/should be saved til a week after move in. Too much for people at that point. Driveway concrete issues are not ok. Not getting anyone to come out, look, advise. Too much bombardment w portals and warranty department for us. Info overload and could have been better spaced into move in.

Stepping Stone has not time or care for people after they buy their homes....4 months with no mail.....every work request is answered with settling of home. Stepping Stone never showed any care after home was purchased.

Our 1st home and been a great rxperience
Pros: Susan was great to work with, made the process fun and stress free and she was very responsive to all our questions and requests. the warranty group has been very responsive. The house is beautiful, we love the layout and there are some quality aspects of the designs. We were not nickled and dimed through every part of the building decisions with a good number of great designs being standard. The basement being plumbed and ready is convenient as well. Cons: Minor workmanship issues. Framing and trim, certain angles are not square but purely cosmetic. there are a few dead spots in the floor, mainly master bathroom and closet. Also, the guest bathroom vanity was wrong so the drawers do not function and the vanity is very far from the toilet so the toilet paper is hard to reach for children. The walls are very thin and you can hear through them really easily. Would recommend a package of add ons such as laundry room sink, deck in backyard etc. as an option.
