We have been very pleased with the responsiveness and communication from the Stepping Stone team. However, we have been underwhelmed with the quality of the home. While certain warranty related items have been addressed in a timely manner, there are other things that cannot be easily addressed, such as crooked walls, air drafts from underneath the baseboards, and other similar nuances.
We are very happy with our home. The process was fairly stress free and easy. I will say that it was difficult for my husband and I to attend several of the meetings as we both work full time & we were usually given very short notice. Additionally, we were a little frustrated that the incorrect range was installed intentionally but we were not told… we only discovered it ourselves on the day of closing. Overall we are thrilled with our new home and would recommend Stepping Stone.
A better building inspection should have been conducted by Stepping Stones before allowing the homes to be sold. Much of the work appears to be rushed. Throughout the process Katy has been great.
Quality of home is good. But the agent that I worked with did not respond at times in timely manner. Gave me miss information a few times. This made my building experience very stressful. Listing agent said the driveway looks like it going to get done when the weather was good. But didn’t. Very disappointed that the drive way and grass did not get done. This cause d me a lot of mess in my new home with crushed rock and the rock gets crushed down when your drive on it. I have to constantly shovel the rock to make it even to be able to pull in the garage.
The experience my wife and I had with stepping stones was magnificent. We are extremely satisfied with our home and how stepping stones staff treated us.
