Sterling has been a good reputable builder, we where delayed 3 months which caused some stress, Chris in key ranch always kept us informed along the way, after moving in we did have a leak in the basement caused by the toilet but the warranty team was quick to respond and fix the issue. I would highly recommend Chris through the building process and he was always very communicative.

Items completed after possession have been substandard

Overall we are happy with our Sterling home purchase. Few trade works are not up to the mark but Sterling warrenty team is on top of that. So happy with that.

The buying experience was great. Shilo was amazing and had so many great ideas which made our home so much better, her expertise was much appreciated. Emily was also great with keeping us up to date on the progress, sending photos and helping us amazingly fast with an issue we encountered. Our home is lovely. There are some small things we have encountered which took a bit longer to have someone come fix but so far everything has been dealt with well.

We had a good experience overall with Sterling Homes. There were a few disappointing things. The carpet work was very poorly done. There was a leak in the gas line in the basement. The paint job and the drywall work are not finished properly. Kitchen cabinets and framing were also not done properly, as the strips were coming off. It felt as though the house was rushed and quality was compromised, because it was a spec home. I would recommend that the house gets just as much attention as a custom house, as we pay the same price. Now for the goods, the en-suite bathroom is completed very well. The kitchen backsplash and the tile work are amazingly done. The Sterling Home staff was really helpful and responsive. They responded to our every request quickly and efficiently. Overall, the people we worked with were really nice but the quality of the home could have been better.
