I am not satisfied with quality of the house and communication during purchase and building process, my stairs case painted white to match trim and I spent 10k to upgrade the same , over all I am not satisfied .

We really like our sterling home and happy with our home purchase experience. However, we’ve found some strange issues during our first month. And I’m sure Sterling team will address them and solve it.

I've built 3 homes now and this is by far the worst experience I have had. It is so bad we are now considering selling this home. The communication was terrible and the follow up was nonexistent. I requested a quote based on everything that was included in the show home, a number of items were missed during construction and nobody said a thing. If asked by another potential buyer I would tell them to stay away from purchasing a home from Sterling.

Our experience with Sterling Homes has been quite positive overall. From the beginning, the process was generally smooth, and we felt well taken care of. Naturally, a few issues did arise—primarily related to the quality of certain construction details and the level of support available after possession. That said, we didn’t go into the process expecting everything to be perfect, so these items weren’t entirely unexpected. Since moving in, we’ve noticed a few areas that could benefit from follow-up or improvement, but we’re hopeful these can be addressed in time. Despite these minor setbacks, one of the standout aspects of our journey was the sales experience. Our sales representative, Nicole, was truly excellent. She was knowledgeable, approachable, and responsive throughout the entire process, which made the decision to move forward with Sterling an easy and confident one. Her professionalism really helped set the tone for a positive experience overall.

Warranty team is initially highly dismissive of valid concerns and issues, which is reflected in lower ratings. If we did not have this experience the overall ratings would be higher. It was a nice touch to provide food and Amazon gift cards post possession and the quality of the interior of the home is excellent.

Showhome contract agreement was thorough and professional. Cleanliness of the home on possession day was not satisfactory. Construction Supervisor organized the cleaners return that day but upon departure was not much better. All mdf shelving in larder, closets window casings and the shower tile were cleaned as far as they could reach and the top was left dusty. Kitchen sink was clogged continuously for the first week until construction debris cleared. Not updated or kept informed with regards to seasonal exterior work. Tentative timings and schedule of work, would be appreciated.

soffit Of the house came off. Within a week when we moved in. And it almost took 3-4 weeks to concerns company to fix it. There was wind and rain. Now not sure if my attic insulation is still in place or not. Now looking forward for attic inspection.

We enjoyed our experience with Chris the area manager of Key Ranch, Airdrie. The quality of the home is medium range and there has been some issues/damage and a lot of our light fixtures and door handles are not level or even and it’s quite obvious. For our price point and the builder we expect better quality and workmanship.
