We were 3 months behind where we should have been. I didn’t even know they had Tilson Property Service till this survey. The oversight and quality was so bad they had to change my general contractor half way in when damage was already done. We had to discover all of the issues and mistakes. It’s like they didn’t even read our plans in some cases. I even found a foundation measurement issue the day before they poured. I moved in 2 months ago and we have already had an appliance leak, multiple warranty calls, and there are still things not fixed from before the close. I will never build with Tilson again.

Overall experience has been good. There have been some seemingly little "fix-it" issues. They are being fixed, but as the buyer, putting this much money into the house, are frustrating.
The initial site prep and explanation from Tilson Reps eventually cost me an extra $60,000.00. The pad was built 10-15 ft in height leaving no choice but to put in retaining walls because the slope was so sever rain would cut gorges into the pad up to the foundation. Tilson virtually offer no assistance other than trying to back fill every time it rained. A number of thier employees early on were callous, blaming me for the dilema when they choose the subcontractor and they told the subcontractor what they wanted. Most of the employees had very poor communication. If I was to find out what was going on or where the process was I had to contact them and inquire. Katie did a good job though did forget some items that we had originally agreed on but in the end worked in helping to get things resolved. They gave me a "Customer Experience Ambassador" that was completely useless and disengaged. Any time I asked about something she sent me back to the site manager. Called me maybe twice. Not sure what her job was. Toward the end Zach and Thomas helped. Thomas who was hired about 1 month before all was finished was a great help and a terrific communicator. To bad he was not there from the begining.
Great experience, only complaint is time from signing contract to completion. Signed December ‘21, broke ground October ‘22, closed June ‘23, took 19 months.

Would be a 5 star but salesperson would tell us one thing and superintendent would say something completely different. But overall good experience.
It was good. The only part that bugged me was getting the finish date. They should give more notice for closing.
Extremely elongated experience, not at all hair with the finishes in the home. Constantly finding things that weren’t done right, bad paint jobs, sloppy work in general. With the amount of time it took I was expecting much more.
