This team was light years ahead of your run of the mill remodeling organization. They did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it.
Overall satisfied with result. Frustrated with timeline to completion, poor communication, and lack of supervision/management of project. Still waiting on answers to questions.
We understand your frustration. The product delay, communication and subcontractor performance did not meet our standards, and we sincerely apologize. We are committed to improving in these areas and appreciate your feedback.

Overall we are disappointed in our experience. We are getting an end result that is close to our vision, but it was a painful process to get here. This project was contracted to take 3 months, and it has now taken more than 5 months. There were lots of mistakes throughout, several of which were within Vive's control, that delayed the project significantly. There are several details about our project that are wrong and won't be fixed, which is disappointing. We felt we had to be far too involved in pointing out issues and mistakes during this project to ensure we got the correct results. The cost incurred for this project is far too high for how much daily involvement we had to ensure correct results.
Thank you for sharing your concerns and communicating with our operations manager as we work to address them. It is clear we as a company did not deliver the client experience we intend. The Vive team, as well as our subcontractors and our suppliers, take responsibility for mistakes that were made. We hope the restitution we’ve agreed upon gives you a sense of resolution. We have taken this feedback back to our team and partners and will strive to improve our processes in the future.
Vive representatives were always super knowledgeable, helpful, and receptive during the entire process. We now have a wonderful finished basement that we enjoy spending time in.
This is our second project with VIVE and we will continue to use them going forward. The quality of their team and commitment to ‘making things right’ set them apart from others.
obviously there were bumps in the road and short term frustrations, but overall, we've had a great experience with Vive

Frustrating. I was hiring professionals and was hoping I would not need to be hands on. It was discouraging when I had to come up with solutions to problems that should not have happened. Most bothersome is that two windows were removed from the master bedroom. I knew one would be but with some forethought and discussion the removal of the 2nd window could have been avoided. Ultimately, I suggested a solution that worked but is still irritating and looks odd. Siding was scheduled to be re-used on addition. After 3 months of renovation, it was determined there would not be enough. Different siding needed to be ordered and a small renovation/addition project that started in June is still not completed on November 8. Isn't there an architect/engineer who could have figured out early on what amount would be needed and whether the existing inventory would be enough?
We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to discuss it with you. Vive’s design-build process does require some weighing of costs and benefits along the way. While we took great care to retain existing windows and reuse siding, neither were the best solution in the end. We appreciate your understanding of the extended lead time on that final window but are glad to hear the space was fully usable in the meantime and you are happy with the result. Thank you for the opportunity to remodel your home!
