Overall we are happy, but there have definitely been issues along the way. For how much money you pay, I would expect more.

Weaver Homes has been very responsive to anything I need. They provide a very thorough walk-through of your home, showing you everything you need to know about The appliances, furnace, plumbing, etc. Their staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable.

The house received is very nice. Aligned with specifications and so far, not observed many mistakes or problems. However, during the construction process, there was a four month delay versus the timeline we were promised originally, and we were extremely disappointed that there was no flexibility in making changes that were vitally important, well before we ever broke ground. Three things we were disappointed of were - 1/ outdated designs 2/ lack of guidance 3/ inflexibility We stated upfront that we are looking for a modern look across everything. Many elements in the house were not offered with a modern clean line look. There is not a single modern faucet offered as part of the options, doors and fireplace framing have undesired bevels, with no other, more minimalist option available, and Kitchen cabinets do not extend up to the ceiling as is very common in modern design today. We were asked about updates we would like to do, but we’re provided no guidance as to what people usually ask for or what might be pragmatic updates. For example, we asked to extend the upstairs by 3 feet and close it into a room, but we were not then recommended to add another 2 1/2 feet to ensure there is closet space available so it would be a full bedroom. This should have been The advice from Weaver right there and then when we asked to make changes to that room, but no such guidance was given. We requested that the concrete Patio is extended by 12 feet out, but we were not told that many people extended sideways as well to provide for ample space for seating, grill, etc. we trusted Weaver and it’s designer To recommend pragmatic and common updates with guidance to buyers that do not design many houses. This would be a customer centric approach for the company, to show buyers what are all their possibilities and options based on what changes other customers have asked for. Finally, despite the fact that Weaver was months late in breaking ground, request for adding a door to the walk-in closet and the window to the shower were outright rejected because they were just a few days contract’s time alloyed to introduce changes. After moving to the house, we recognize how important making those minor changes at the time was. The end result is that the buyer will need to make costly changes post closing, despite having a very low cost of change at the time of the request. This is again not customer focused that led to a poor customer experience for us. I would like to recommend for every new home if there would be an option for a window in the shower, to avoid the dependency on fans for removing humidity. It is nice to open a window. I would also recommend having High static windows for light in the walk-in closet. The entire master bathroom and closet are extremely dark all day long. The only source of light is the window in the toilet room. I hope this feedback is helpful. There are other things I would strongly recommend, including the option of painting the entire house, and the option of adding built-in wardrobes to the walk-in closet, laundry room, and garage. No, such options were ever presented or discussed. Thank you, Ehud

We actually stopped to look at the model home on a whims and weeks later we moved into our new home at Forest Oaks. Our sales agent, Beth, was fabulous!! She showed us two homes The Abbey and The Canterbury we loved both. We stopped several times to go through them to ensure we chose the one that would be perfect for us. Several weeks later we moved into The Abbey our new home. The process was stress free. Everyone at Weaver Homes were not only helpful but also very supportive, kind and welcoming!! I would definitely recommend Weaver Homes to anyone who is looking to downsize and enjoy maintenance free community living.
