Review of Overall Experience

Overall, I am satisfied with the home and especially the sales and design experience. The closing staff was also very accommodating and friendly. However, a few areas of concern around the communication during the build process and lack of quality related to the landscaping are negative factors. We were promised a starter lawn and only received weeds and crabgrass tht were deposited as part of the fill dirt.

Rushed to close on the home prior to it being ready. Quality of craftsmanship is not commensurate with the price charged. Items that should not be included in the sale of the home (appliances) were which is calculated in your property taxes. The time from signing to selecting the limited interior options was unnecessarily fast. The quality of asphalt driveway is lacking. Several friends asked when the final wearing surface was going to put down, I said this is it. Again, quality issue. I am still waiting for punch list items to be completed. It gets to the point when you give up and have the work done yourself. I think that is the Weaver way. The landscaping is a joke. When spending $600K-$800K on a home, you'd think an inexpensive soft close toilet seat would be standard, not the case. It seems to be the common theme amongst the other homeowners I've talked with. I can go on and on, but it doesn't matter now. I was told the build process was approximately 7 months. I received a call from Bonnie that I was closing March 13, far from the 7 month build. I asked about pushing the closing date back a month, her response, "it is a $100 per day to delay the closing" even though the house wasn't completely ready. There lacks a personal touch from this builder The two shining stars in the Weaver home buying experience were Sue and Meg Not sure who The Customer Care Team is comprised of. Several circuit breakers were missed marked, requiring the electrician to come back to investigate and make the correction.

Weaver Homes has been very responsive to anything I need. They provide a very thorough walk-through of your home, showing you everything you need to know about The appliances, furnace, plumbing, etc. Their staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable.

So far, everything has been great! The quality of the home and the personnel have been superior. I would highly recommend Weaver Homes.
