Does not meet my expectations. We thought a tankless water heater would be more environmentally friendly. Not true. It takes at least two minutes running wide open to get hot water at the tap and wastes a great amount of water.

Product is just fine. But trying to get customer service and support for service is a true nightmare. Emails are not answered and I was left alone to resolve the issue. I will not buy anything that has no customer support

After replacing two hot water heaters, i wanted a tankless water heater. I wish I had a tankless when our 4 kids lived with us. Now its perfect when the visit with grandkids.

The hot water will run for a few minutes and then shut off. The installer thinks it is air locks? They have tried to contact Rinnai with no response either and said they are out of options so I have to contact them. So here I sit again with a head full of shampoo waiting for the hot water heater to decide to start up again.

I purchased Rinnai RUR199iN Tankless water heater, it comes with inbuilt re-circulation and Wi-Fi control module. Re-circulation helps getting instant hot water and with Wi-FI module I can schedule recirculation and turn recirculation pump on/off whenever needed.

At first I was sorry I switched to a tankless water heater because it wouldn’t consistently heat water and I would end up taking a cold shower. I believe the issue was with the installation and not the unit. After the third call to the installer, I think they got it right and so far the unit has been working as expected. This was installed in January and has been working consistently for about a month so hopefully the issue is fixes.
