We purchased a new build in Pine Creek, Calgary SW. Our closing experience was extremely poor and disheartening. Shortly before closing, Anthem's lawyer issued our Statement of Adjustments, and our bank released our full mortgage funds based on those figures. After the funds were received, a revised statement arrived demanding a significantly higher amount with essentially no notice. Scrambling to arrange the additional funds at the last minute delayed our key release by more than 24 hours. We had family in town for a housewarming we had to cancel. Our guests sent back. No one from the Anthem team even apologized. We were told that the corporate office would contact us and our key release was on schedule but no one reached out and they did nothing to lessen our hardships instead they just kept asking for the payment. Issuing an incorrect statement, allowing our lender to fund on it, and correcting it at the last minute caused severe and entirely avoidable stress for our family, including our 11-year-old child. We were forced to incur out of pocket expense and when we asked Anthem to reimburse our out-of-pocket costs from the delay (extra legal fees, courier, bank charges, moving costs — under $900 in total), they offered to pay if we signed a broad release of all future claims plus confidentiality and non-disparagement terms. We declined. This act added insult to our injury. We would give less than one star if possible because of the extremely poor customer service and experience provided to us by Anthem. We would never recommend Anthem to any one.

Overall, my experience with Anthem has been positive. The quality of the home and overall value have met my expectations. Anthem has been responsive and professional throughout the process, giving me confidence in their commitment to customer satisfaction. I would recommend Anthem to others.

100% recommend Anthem builder to all my friends and my family member, nothing is 100% perfect, all on you, whenever you think is its perfect then it perfect even there are small mistake, if you are not believe me choose Anthem builder and experience for your self. Anyways thanks a lot to Anthem builder, Lauren, Julia, and to all the team who build my house that you build it very nice, I will called it well done. Thanks again and good luck to all of you.
