Review of Overall Experience

The overall experience was terrible. The turnover of personnel was incredibly high, 4 features that were in the contract and promise or not delivered and excuses were made on why. They kept referencing how hard it is to sue them that would not be beneficial for me. They cared more about the profit they made versus the promises made when purchasing the home. Countless delays in mismanagement in the process.

Review of Overall Experience

Quality of workmanship from sub contractors was awful. The AR superintendent assigned to our job would not communicate with us after repeated requests for updates. Communication from builder was nearly non-existent. Today is 1/6/2023. We moved into the house 9/23/2022. The house is still not complete. There is unfinished work on the exterior of the house, several electrical outlets were never installed (overlooked by the sub and still waiting on product) and the electric is unstable (arc breakers possibly faulty), the pool is incomplete and will likely need to have pool decking removed to install low voltage cabling the pool sub "forgot" to install, the concrete driveway is cracking after only 3 months, there are at least a dozen cracked tiles on the patio/lanai/pool deck, the house has settling issues presenting in large diagonal crack over a doorway. The builder did not communicate with us during the building process. From the time the lot was cleared 3/2021, the build took 18 months to build and is still under construction with all of the open items from our walkthrough. As stated, we moved into the house 9/23/2022- I would like to have our house construction completed! This is the second AR Home we have built. The first one in FL in 1993. Our "dream" was to build another house with indoor/outdoor flow. We designed our house to have that attribute. The AR franchise failed AR Homes on our new house. They failed to communicate, they failed to oversee the quality of workmanship, they failed to deliver the quality AR Homes is known for which is why we chose AR Homes to build this house.
