Experience was difficult due to extreme customizations. Some contractors were not flexible to changes. Seemed very low technology and some vendors were 100% unwilling to look at other options. The build was like "pulling teeth" the entire time with some vendors. The finish portion of the build was extremely bad due to loss of on-site supervisor. We closed on house with major items to be completed due to numerous delays. We lived in house while it was still a construction site for months. Still items not completed and many items we paid to have corrected on our own.

This was the best purchase and build experience that we could have hoped for. The communication was next level. The level of workmanship of their subcontractors is second to none. If we ever build another house in the area, AR Homes/Blue Ocean will be our first and only stop.

Being able to work with a small team from pre-sale to close, was a big benefit. The contract process was very straight-forward and easy to manage throughout the project. Having one design center to go to and select all the house options was a major benefit. The only thing I would improve was being able to see all the appliances prior to close. All in all this was a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend working with Bruce and his team to any prospective buyer.
