Review of Overall Experience

Our experience with AR Homes was very unprofessional and disappointing once we had to start dealing with building crew. The level of trades that worked in our home were “D” at best. The project manager had horrible customer service skills at best. She was uneducated with the building process and did a horrible job keeping the project inline and didn’t even update the site manager or trades when the prints for the home changed. Changes that were made in beginning were not incorporated, updated or shared for 6 + months into the build. The site manager had zero ability or desire to communicate with the actual trades on site that only understood Spanish. Paint that was used was not the Sherman Williams cashmere that was promised in our contract. There were 3 different paint crews used , stepping up in experience in painting with each new crew. Custom crafted cabinets were painted with wall paint and rolled. Not only were we not shown how appliances or ac heat unit worked during “orientation”but after we moved in the cook top was not even hooked up to electricity and neither was the ac/ furnace even hooked up in our flex room suite. Isn’t that something the site manager should have tested after they were installed?? The list is endless for the disorganization and lack of skilled trades that built our million plus home from Blue Ocean / AR Homes.
