Overall the experience was great but some of the trades you have used have a done a very shody job for a $1.3M house and it affects the overall quality and experience. The main concern is with the paiting and cabinet work.
It was a complete stress in the whole building process… since things were not explained from the very beginning, sales manager was not responsive and willing to help immediately after the contract was signed. For everything I ask, it is NO. And this was my first home and had no idea what to expect in the next phases. I met the construction manager last when I get my keys…. Very strange!

It's been really good. We are enjoying our home and I feel I can really on Baywest.
While we have owned several homes, this was our first new build. The experience was great, the people were great to work with. The trades were amazing to work with initially or when returning for fixes. They responded very quickly on occasions when we reached out directly. With it being our first new build, there was a lot of information, paper etc to keep up with so that was definitely a learning process. We always knew there would be follow up on items, not to the degree we are experiencing. We are thrilled with our new home and looking forward to the completion of all outstanding items.
Just the post closing review after 3 months is still not made
Please see details in my previous comment. Overall, it's really about performing a thorough quality check. Don't set a final possession date if the house is not ready. On our first walkthrough, we did say that we don't think that the house will be ready for turnover on November 14th but Baywest Homes were confident that it would be. But it's not.
