Right now we can’t say anything positive. We like Two Rivers but the house is really poorly made.

Would Change

I felt Pete our sales rep didn’t know the options that we could have & when there was an option, he didn’t explain it well. He had just come on the job so he really didn’t know about our house. I paid $2,000 for crown molding & was shocked that I bought crown molding for the Hallway & not the living room. I thought I was buying it for the living room. I would never buy it for the hallway. It was Pete’s fault. He would start a sentence with “I doubt you want this” or “No one got this” or if I chose something he would say “Really?” I never heard from the construction manager during the build & was not allowed to contact him directly. No pictures were posted in the portal or updates. My home was a mess when we did the walk though. The basement floor in the unfinished area is still a brown mess that Brookfield never cleaned properly. We think the basement rug was laid over the muddy mess. There are nails coming through the rugs that have not been fixed. Our wood/laminate floor was glue spots all over it & has not been fixed. There are soft spots on the kitchen wood floor. Out kitchen cabinets are chipped & not hung right. Our porch door is hung wrong. The tiles in the guest & basement bathroom were tiled wrong - wall tile on floor & floor tile on wall & it took over 10 days for them correct once they got around to fixing them, leaving the toilets in my hallway over a weekend! The workmanship is very poor. The ceiling in basement is painted unevenly & the doors are painted with splotches. The floor molding is falling off & the closet doors are jagged & uneven on the bottom. I feel no one was overseeing the work in my house & checking on the workers or they would have noticed such blatant shabby work. There are many more things wrong with the house. Mostly, I feel that Brookfield wants as little as possible to do with us. They are not apologetic that we can’t use the oven for over a month, we can. Ot have guest to our house for over a month since we did not have a bathrooms. No compensation has been give to us for being indisposed. Not even a meal gift since we could use our ovens for a month!

Liked Most

The Picasso II floor plan is very nice although the kitchen is a little tight but with limited counter space, but we are getting use to it. Nick is excellent. Brookfield needs more field people with his same level of dedication and commitment to quality. Also Nick puts the customer first as it should be. He finds a way to satisfy the buyer with whatever it takes.

Would Change

I would hire quality trim carpenters and painters. The finish work has been extremely disappointing for a home in this price range. Hire better a better flooring company. The upgraded carpet and pad is base level with other home builders.
