Review of Overall Experience

This is our second time purchasing with Brookfield Residential. While there are a few minor items that need to be fixed — which we understand is normal — overall, we have been happy with our experience and continue to trust Brookfield as a builder. This time, we purchased a spec home. Overall, it’s a great house, but I wanted to share some constructive feedback on a few things that could potentially be improved for future builds: Bathroom cabinets – None of the bathrooms have drawers, which makes storage less convenient. Having at least one drawer in each would be a big improvement. Kitchen – The kitchen is quite basic for the size and price of the home, with only one bank of drawers. A more upgraded kitchen would better match the overall scale and feel of the home. Appliance package – Unfortunately, this is the least functional set of appliances we’ve had. The washer cannot handle a king duvet, and the fridge freezes many items even after adjusting the temperature. Basement windows – These appear to be the smallest possible size. Larger windows would make the basement feel brighter and more inviting.
