For the most part we love the home and community. As mentioned the buying process was not great, and the financing/closing process was terrible. I want to reiterate again that Chip was good to work with on the financing, Natalie was not.
The HOA association is inflexible and goes against Texas state law. Anitra denied my application to build my fence as I want it. Texas Property code title 11 Chapter 202 section 202.023 section B "a property owners' association may not adopt or enforce a restrictive covenant that prevents a property owner from building or installing security measures, including but not limited to a security camera, motion detector, or perimeter fence."
