Review of Overall Experience

From the day my realtor went to show me the property on video call until the day I moved in, the experience was awesome. The Brookfield team made the process very easy for me and my realtor , and of course the engineer/ builder did a great job.

Review of Overall Experience

My overall experience with Brookfield began with Kevin, Sales, who listened and cared about my happiness. He wasn't pushy or judgemental and worked well with my realtor. The 3 of us were a team and that's a BIG deal. That's how I needed it to be. Kevin brought location and construction details to my attention that I wasn't seeing and couldn't appreciate until then. We met with Kevin 3 different times and took 3 different tours and his integrity was instrumental in my decision to purchase in Kissing Tree. I want to share something about what Kevin said after touring a cottage. It was a beautiful home and on a great high corner. But I felt something in me was off and couldn't put my finger on it until the three of us were driving off together. I said, "Guys, I felt lonely there." It was too big for me. I had been living in a small "cozy" one bedroom apartment for several years. As soon as I said that, Kevin didn't hesitate to respond with a knowing understanding. Then he said something like, "I'm telling you, you'd like the Mitchell." :) And he was right. Then my builder, Colin. Now there's 4 on my team. Upon meeting Colin, trust came naturally as he is a man of great integrity. When he said he was going to do a thing, he did it and he did it right. He's a talented builder and to be so young. I smile as I imagine future new homeowners, going through the "uncertain" buying process like I did, and coming through to the realization that Colin had and has their back......100%. It's a great feeling. Colin expressed to me over the past few months, the integrity of Brookfield. He gave me examples of this, how Brookfield cares about their quality, their customers, and not building and disappearing but continuing to follow up with us after we have commited our money and moved in. He's proven this all to be true and I'm grateful. My warranty man, Christopher. Now, there's 5 on my team and Chris continues to back up everything Colin has represented. I'm detailed and Chris is detailed and I like that. As you know, it takes time as a new homeowner, to come across items that may need attending to and Chris has had an open ear and a pen and pad taking good notes, photos, and videos when needed. And as you know, it takes time to get warrenty work scheduled and done. Chris knows how important it is to reasure the homeowner, me in this case, what he is scheduling and what is next and he has done just that. His military background and training really shows in his work and I find that valuable and fun to be around. I'm noticing I haven't said a word about my lovely home and great neighborhood. As nice as it all is, it is Kevin and Colin and Chris and my realtor Jake, that have made all the difference. I've learned a lot in this process, thank's to their willilngness to help me, to listen to me, and not once have I felt judged negatively. I want to bring in one more special person who helped a lot and that is Kristie. I think I was the final sale for Kevin and final build for Colin as they transitioned to Easton Park so some of my stuff was going on during their transition. Kirstie, along with Kevin and Colin's continued communication with me, made that feel pretty much seamless.
