Review of Overall Experience

This is our second build through Capital Homes. Our experience, this time, was much different than the first. Our concerns and requests were not acted on or even considered. Our final walkthrough consisted of the standard blue taping process. We are used to that. What I'm not used to is "Project Coordinator / Supervisor / Advisor / Representative" not willing to monitor the condition and overall quality of work at each stage of completion before moving onto the next step in the process. We were asked to take off of work to accommodate someone else's work schedule only to show up to a 1/2 million dollar investment, that wasn't properly supervised, or quality of work verified throughout the entire building stages by those responsible. I was not happy with the final product of the home. My wife.. she's happy. Your quality of craftsmanship by the contractors you hire is embarrassing and should be evaluated. The foundational work on 3 confirmed houses in our NEW development had air pockets in the FOUNDATION. You hired the cheapest contractors with the cheapest bid. You let them that have children and alcohol on the job sites while working on our homes. You chared me for a smart home service that YOUR REPRESENTATIVES KNEW were going out of business. Instead of approaching this with honestly, Capital Homes told the customers they were "having difficulties" with their system and still charged me for the system. Now I have paid for a service that your company hasn't provided nor reimbursed my family for. The people in charge of the Emerald Falls neighborhood are incompetent and dishonest. I would never recommend Capital Homes for a home buyer looking for a home of this size, prize and expectation. Possessing a "good enough" attitude or "Just get it done" attitude will only continue to create internal issues with quality of work and representation by Capital Homes and will eventually lead to a trending decline reputation and sales. At best, after our experience. I hope for the ladder so no one else has to endure what me and my neighbors have. Pathetic.
