I was disappointed with the home buying process. My representative, Allen, was often unresponsive and disorganized. I frequently had to rely on Bryon, the neighborhood representative, to resolve issues. Allen, Bryon, and Billy (building supervisor) were often on different pages, and I had to remind them of decisions throughout the build. The plans I received had to be modified, and even at the pre-construction meeting, they differed from what I was given. During construction, I had to point out missed items, like the ethernet being installed on the wrong wall. Now that I've moved in, some items still aren't working properly, such as the prewired ethernet in my home office and a missing light switch per the signed plans from September 9th, 2024. While the quality of the house and construction is great, the poor communication throughout the process was frustrating and could have been much better.
