The person in the design center, despite not having an appointment due to selling agent not communicating, was extremely helpful, accommodating and kind.
Sellers agent made the process extremely difficult and left a negative feeling throughout the process. The refrigerator not fitting the space should have been disclosed during design center process, The carpet is terrible quality, the living is difficult to orient except for one way, not versatile, shower heads way too high, shelving in master too high, single towel rack in master, low quality bathroom fixtures. The home is sturdy and well built. Many things were very well done. Wish I would not have had to do as many immediate fixes to make it comfortable. For reference, I am 4'10" so the master closets and showerhead was a must. The refrigerator made closing day a poor experience. This was 50% not knowing until the week prior to closing that it would be a problem as well as the agents not properly communicating and having to go over their heads to get the job done. The seller agent at closing walk through said, "I am going to make this as difficult for her as possible." Very unprofessional.
The design and layout of the home (Redwood design) is wonderful. The cabinet and closet space available in the house is superlative. Punch list items were handled swiftly and with aplomb.
The closing company was problematic. There were unnecessary delays. Particularly as we made a cash sale. We had a hard time getting the final number for our bank. Response time from them lagged.

I love the location and overall we do love the home and we have upgraded the lighting and the things we do not like but we do wish the post-sales customer service was better. We are concerned about how our warranty service might end up being considering emails have been left ignored. Fortunately Bob has been responsive but I do not think it is fair that the burden be on him to care for our needs.
The insulation is clearly very poor because you can hear everything in one bathroom in the guest bedroom and vice versa. This is less than ideal as you can imagine. The drywall and paint is bare minimum clearly and you are using level 1 granite. This was a spec home so I did not have an option to upgrade and that was my choice obviously but I think it would be nice if you put more than base options in the homes at this pricepoint.
