Solid home, slightly high on price but generally JTB has been great to work with.

Experience was really positive, just wish we could have had more flexibility when it came to changing some things regarding the front elevation of the house.
It was a non complicated transaction with no hurdles or issues. The builder did a nice and thorough walk through at closing.
JBT was great to work with and delivered an excellent product. Kevin has been fantastic at answering our questions post move in. We had a few drainage concerns in the yard that the team was quick to response to and offer guidance on. Highly recommend JTB!!
The home wasn't complete but JTB continued with closing. Now we have ongoing construction with nowhere to unpack and numerous contractor appointments. JTB hasn't shown appropriate concern about how disruptive this has been and has offered nothing for having us close on a house not up to code.
While I believe the house is solid, so many little things were overlooked or just not deemed important. For example, the crown molding in the kitchen has been pulling away from the ceiling which looks terrible. Presently, it is close to an inch from the ceiling today. Whomever was in charge of caulking didn't know you can't just use any caulk around sinks, etc The caulk has turned yellow, turned chalky & is seriously cracked. This morning almost every window has ice built up INSIDE. Yes it's cold outside, but this is Michigan, it's January and one should expect cold. I understand mistakes are made - like forgetting to screen in the screened in porch and once corrected overlooking adding the facia on the outside. It's scarey for me, I am alone and trusted that JTB would do a good job & make my house safe. But with some of the "little" stuff done so poorly I do worry about the quality I don't see...
