Meritage rep lied from the moment I walked to inquire. Continued to lie and change lies to fit his narrative. Started avoiding my realtor and I when he realizes we’ve caught him lying. The quality of the house was very over priced. When I walk up and down the stairs is sounds and feel like the stairs is going to cave in. The appliances were super over priced. I have the a very outdated toilet. They didn’t even bother to give me an update toilet my handle is on the side instead of the top, not to mention it’s been stoping up since I moved in 8 days ago. . And the paint on the walls is terrible. It’s cheap. It’s there’s absolutely no wiping or it totally destroys the paint. They’re refusing to give me a sample. I need paint because if we do so much as touch the wall it needs to be repainted. And finding the exact paint has been like pulling teeth. Sherman Williams said it very bad quality and rarely used in new builds so it hard to find. Yet they’re on the next street over still building and won’t even give me a sample. This has truly been the worst home I’ve ever purchased. I wouldn’t refer meritage to an enemy’s dog. I can literally go on and on. But NO don’t waste your time or money. Totally not worth it. They literally changed the price of the house depending on which lender I chose. It was a terrible experience. I’m currently looking to sale even if I break even. I hate the community they have a vicious Karen that harasses everyone that moves to the community. And anyone that’s not of the Caucasian race should definitely not purchase here in my opinion.

Our only concern regarding the quality of the home is that there are several cracks in the concrete porch, patio, and garage floor.

Overall, my experience has been positive. The team demonstrates a great attitude and is genuinely knowledgeable, and I appreciate their consistent efforts to accommodate requests in a timely and professional manner. My one area of concern is the concrete pit adjacent to the main road. The noise, dust, debris, and loose rocks it generates create what I consider an ongoing safety hazard, particularly for vehicle traffic along that stretch. Given how heavily traveled that road is, I would strongly encourage consideration of relocating the pit to a less congested area. Addressing this would go a long way toward making the overall environment safer and more comfortable for everyone. With that improvement, I would have no hesitation giving this a top rating.
