Derek is a great representative for Meritage Homes. Cain, the general contractor representing the construction side of the building is an asset to this company. His customer service and knowledge is impeccable!! Thank you Derek and Cain for helping this process go as smooth as possible.

There is need of security here and we were not aware that a large number of homes have been purchased by investors and rented out to Section 8 causing rising crime in the area. We can not even use the amenities as they all seem to hang there and cause fights. Their are many videos of these instances that have surfaced online, some have gone viral. It is clear that we purchased a home that is already going down in value due to this alone. HOA only seems to care about lawns and that is it. It is disheartening what I have seen and continue to see. I fear for the safety of my kids. Also found out that we are not actually in Mckinney but in Princeton. This was not at all what we were told. There is much more but these are the top of the list as to why we are not happy and would never recommend Mertiage Homes.

Experience was mixed. The sale rep was helpful and typically responsive. Communications with others was not as smooth. So far we have had a good experience with the home so we are satisfied. Process of walkthrough after signing and then closing could definitely be better. The construction manager was not flexible and would not meet us when we had time. I appreciate the videos I was sent but they aren’t of my home and so I have to figure out somethings on my own.
