Our experience with Meritage Homes has been positive. The home buying experience was easy with great communication from the sales office. After purchasing our home, we had a further great experience with the walk through and the remedy for items we found not 100% satisfactory in regard to the build. Mind you, the flaws we found were very minimal and an easy fix!

My biggest dissatisfaction is the quality of paint especially the "wet" areas that were not painted with enamel instead of flat. We paid to have these areas painted after move-in but could not afford to have the entire house done. The outside paint was also so thin that there are areas of poor coverage. We are nearly 80 years old and are unable to correct these problems. Paint is of poor quality and cannot survive even a gentle wipe. Another huge disappointment is that there are no drawers in the bathrooms and the open shelving . I must assume you saved money but it couldn't have been much and only causes the homeowners left to find a solution that costs a lot more money. The declined quality is huge from previous Meritage Homes built in Bella Vista Farms. Overall we are pleased with our home. We have only been in home for 2 months and are saving fixes for near end of year end warranty due to only having one chance for repairs.

from start to finish, this has been a very great experience. Everybody working with Meritage home has been extremely helpful and very quick to respond. I have had so many questions answered in such short notice making this a straightforward process. I can’t thank the whole team enough.
