My understanding of these ratings is that if they are not stellar, they affect everyone involved, so I am giving 5 stars across the board. There is much room for improvement, though. For instance, there are paint drips on the carpet, on the tile, on the grout, on the counters, on the light fixtures, on the appliances, pretty much everywhere.

My overall experience with Meritage Homes has been amazing. Moving into a new home can definitely be stressful at times, but honestly, Edward and Lauren made the entire process feel so much easier and actually enjoyable. Edward has been nothing short of an absolute gem. He has been patient, professional, responsive, and just genuinely great to work with. No matter what came up, he handled it with kindness and a calm attitude, which I truly appreciated. You can tell he actually cares about the people he works with, and that makes a huge difference. Lauren has also been incredible throughout this process. She has been so helpful, kind, and supportive every step of the way. Between the two of them, I honestly felt like I had my own personal home-buying dream team keeping me sane through the process. Even now, they are both still working with me to get all the small little touches wrapped up so my home can be absolutely pristine, and I truly appreciate the continued care and attention to detail. At this point, I think they both deserve raises… so do what you can with that information. Seriously though, they both went above and beyond, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. Thank you to the Meritage Homes team for helping make moving into my new home such a positive and exciting experience!

My experience buying a Meritage home exceeded my expectations. The entire team, from the front office to the Construction Manager, ensured a smooth handover and took care of even minor details and gaps. I especially want to recognize Sales Manager “Marcie” and Construction Manager “James” for making the experience exceptional. Their support has encouraged me to consider purchasing my next investment home in the near future. The home handover process and any post-closing concerns were also well handled by Construction Manager “James.”
