My wife and I had a very quick weekend to look at homes in March. Pacesetter was at the top of the list. Stephanie was extremely helpful in providing all of the information regarding the houses that were for sale at the time along with any questions about promotions and what not. I have talked with Stephanie a few times since then and the experience has been extremely positive. Stephanie has gone out of our way to help our family feel welcome in this new home. I would recommend any new homebuyer in the Melissa area to seek out Pacesetter for their next home purchase.

Pacesetters homes are of great quality even the sales staff are very helpful and highly knowledgeable. I would recommend asking lots of questions beforehand. When you are a first time buyer because there will be questions about appliances and warranties on items as well as pro home company that works with pacesetters homes. These are just companies that pacesetters partners with and as a first time buyer you may need to know that the home builders and these companies handle things different. I would absolutely purchase another pacesetters home. We look at lots of builders and the quality, the inspections the diligence of the staff to be helpful is top of the line. I had no knowledge of pacesetters before this experience but they use great building materials they are meticulous about detail and I value that as well. Best decision we ever made!

From the unfinished baseboards, to the terrible paint job, the uneven walls, the shotty placement of wall switches and door stops, they scuffed/scraped doors, the hole we found in a baseboard, the stripped piece of flooring in our kitchen, the uncaulked door frames, the dirty windows that won’t slide due to all the dirt left in them, the stains on the carpet, the weather strip on the back door that already looks 5 years old because it was painted and shouldn’t have been and has now cracked, and the list probably goes on but we haven’t even moved in yet because we are having to redo baseboards, paint, and flooring. If all of this has been found before we move in who knows what’s behind the walls that we can’t see. It does not give up a great feeling and this will be the one and only Pacesetter home we ever buy because when some of these issues were brought to the employees attention there was an excuse for everything so we just stopped saying anything. Instead, we will spend more unnecessary time and money that we should not have to spend on an almost 1/2 a million dollar home and fix them ourselves. I wish we had something better to say.
