Review of Overall Experience

There has been a consistent lack of proper communication throughout the entire process. While communication started well, it declined significantly after the contract was signed. The closing process was stressful and poorly handled. Several issues we raised before and during closing remain unresolved, even though we were told they would be addressed. What we initially discussed and agreed upon with the builder was not delivered as expected. In addition, important documentation — such as details about the sewage system and roofing — was not provided, despite us specifically requesting it. The lack of transparency and accountability was concerning. The lender referred by Pacesetter was also not properly informed, which resulted in unexpected charges of over $10,000 after closing. This caused considerable financial strain, especially since we had planned everything in advance. Beyond that, the quality of workmanship has been disappointing. The vinyl flooring is already coming loose, some cupboards are cracking, and paint is fading — all within a very short time after moving in. These issues raise serious concerns about build quality and long-term durability. Overall, the entire experience has been frustrating, financially stressful, and well below expectations.
