Would Change

I would insulate the first floor ceiling for noise cancellation. Utilization of the space beneath the front porch would be nice for storage.

The price of the house is still a good deal compared to what 300K can buy in State College, but S&A service definitely can be improved.

Would Change

More care needs to be put into workmanship. A new house should not have faulty wiring, leaky faucets, dirty windows, misaligned cupboards. The project manager simply would not respond to emails with simple questions. He also forgot some of our requests that were approved by S&A. For example, move the laundry room to basement, to not nail down the carpet padding since we were going to remove the carpets (this cost us $1000 to remove professionally).
