Overall, we had a good experience. Rich was especially helpful in easing our frustration during the many outdoor and land-related issues. There were definitely times we were upset, but he listened, reassured us, and helped put things in perspective. He told us it was his job to take on the stress so we could enjoy the process, and we really appreciated that. There are a few areas where the home’s design could be improved. For one of the larger homes you offer, the kitchen and pantry feel small. A larger kitchen should be part of the standard design rather than requiring an additional paid expansion. The primary bedroom could also use more lighting—one light simply isn’t enough for a room that size.

Great overall! Beautiful home, great options, and a very patient team. Not only were we first time home buyers, but we built on land with no well, electricity, etc. S&A was super supportive throughout the process and definitely went above and beyond to help us figure everything out.

We had a wonderful experience buying and building our new home! From the start, our sales representative was fantastic—knowledgeable, responsive, and extremely helpful as we navigated our options. The buying and selection process felt effortless and convenient. We loved the variety of floor plans available and appreciated being able to customize the layout to fit our needs. During construction, our project manager was incredible to work with. He strongly advocated for high homeowner involvement and kept communication open every step of the way. It was clear he genuinely cared about the quality of his work and wanted us to be completely happy with the end result. While there are a few minor imperfections in the final product that we are working through (and hope to have resolved soon), we are very happy with our new home and so excited to make memories here for many years to come!

Never once did we regret building. Absolutely the best experience we had comparing all 4 houses we built. S&A reps were open and honest. It was a pleasure working with them. They truly did everything possible to give us what we wanted. The only thing I would say that was a little disappointing was the kitchen cabinets and we even upgraded. Not the quality we had in our other homes.

Our most pleasant experience during the construction process was the interaction and care that Tom and Tim extended to us each time we visited the worksite. Also Chad represented S&A in a very professional manner at closing.
