The experience was average. The accolade model should be a top tier model but we found it to be basic. There was nothing eye catching or premium about the build. The house is large with no good use of space to create a wow experience. There were things were some basic things we thought should be part of the sale like choice of black door, cabinet, handles, shower heads, kitchen faucet etc, that we had to pay for at DesignQ. Also we had viewed another accolade model on sale which made us decide to buy a preconstruction one ourselves, only to discover that a lot of we had to pay for a lot of what we saw after we signed the agreement. We felf cheated and unhappy. We had issues with the quality of build, there were squeaking noises coming the floor, the kitchen island vibrating or shaking when there's a movement around it, the glass from one of the kitchen island lighting just broke and shattered all over the living room, thank goodness there was no one close by at that time, it would've caused terrible injury. Water from the masters bathtub was leaking to the mainfloor through one of the lights during the orientation, was quality assurance even done after construction? And just this week, during inspection from the city, they noted a deficiency with the size of the basement window, they said the width is less than the requirement! I could go on and on! The concrete for My drive and walkway have still not been done, making my garage useless. Whenever it rains, its muddy and terrible sight to behold. It doesn't tell well of Sterling Homes. A friend of mine that was interested in the next house close to mine also built by Sterling lost interest because of that! You guys should realize that it's not all about building new homes, the ones already built should be completed including driveway and all.

The experience was positive.One of the useful features of Sterling is the after sales follow-up. With Virtuo and Service Q,many issues can be rectified using these systems.A nice addition to implement to your new home.

Solely based on our experience of our sales representative, I would not recommend Sterling Homes. I truly feel that if we had a different sales associate our recommendation and overall satisfaction would be significantly higher.

Sales rep was amazing , but once keys are complete we feel the respect is gone. Tradespeople and the manager are seen everyday , not even a friendly wave while passing. Home quality isn’t what we thought it to be , lots of cracks, and deficiencies being found. Leaks in basement at the slab/foundation. Windows have extreme drafts in winter leaking cold air.

We were searching for our home for 6 months and we thought we are not going to get it until Tom our sales manager gave us our hope. And we got our home in 2 weeks we are so happy and very satisfied with our new home. Thank you Sterling for building our first home in Canada

Great overall experience although I had some issues on the home itself, they responded quickly. My Area Sales Manager (Natalie) has been amazing as well and the entire team went above and beyond when I thought it was impossible to purchase my house :)

Overall experience was really great! First time buying new home and was really amazed since we bought a Show Home.. Well Guided up to the end of the process, will surely refer Sterling, the agent we worked with and in the right time undergo the same dealings and process without a doubt.
