Review of Overall Experience

Tilson made us feel unimportant and that our small retirement home was inconsequential to them since they had "SO MUCH BUSINESS" during the pandemic. Additionally, since our forever home was in a rural area, Tilson would not provide even one consistent "builder". We were tossed around and ended up with whoever got stuck with the unwanted trip to Paige, TX. We chose Tilson precisely because their slogan of building on our own land and because of their years in the industry. Turns out, Tilson is just another complacent business, raking in a lot of unsuspecting customers and minimally servicing any of them UNLESS THE CUSTOMER IS BIG.

Paul, we're truly sorry for the experience you had and take your feedback to heart. We value every customer who chooses us to build their new home, no matter the size of the home. Unfortunately, due to the unprecedented demand for new homes and pandemic-related supply chain issues, construction delays have become commonplace. We build ninety percent of our homes in rural areas, so we're used to overcoming the challenges that come with getting labor and materials to a remote job site. We shared our construction challenges with you in an effort to be transparent, but we understand how our words may have made you feel unimportant. That was never our intention. We want to always deliver excellent customer service and communication, and we will use your feedback to improve our process going forward. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
