Everything was great until the closing. Tuskes’ title agent gave us an incorrect settlement statement with the wrong closing address, wrong settlement amount and had no idea what we owed. She then scolded us repeatedly for being late and not having certified funds. She was rude, abrasive and unprofessional. Pleeeease do not put another client through that. Called us “you people.” Blamed Nicolise for everything. She was just plain nasty.

For context, the following review is being written 4 months after our closing date. There was no pressure or ask by the builder for us to provide this review. My wife and I were new homebuyers and nervous about the home buying process. We had heard numerous concerns about the quality of new construction in the modern era from friends/family which had initially steered us away from new construction. Fortunately, we had friends who recently built home through Tuskes recommend we take a look at them and we are extremely glad we did. Tuskes receives our highest recommendation. 1) Home Buying Process: Our home specialists (Jamie and later Melissa ) were fantastic. During our initial meetings with Jamie, she was extremely patient, took a lot of time explaining details with us, was extremely responsive by email/text, and was not pushy at all. She was able to arrange for us to physically see multiple home layouts in the Lehigh Valley area, allowed us ample time to make decisions, and was very thoughtful when answering our questions. It was very sad to see Jamie leave Tuskes but Melissa did a great job picking up where Jamie left off and was very helpful/responsive, especially at the time of closing. 2) Design Studio: As new homeowners, we felt Tuskes offered the right amount of custom options without being overwhelmed with a million options. Our design specialist, Katherine, was superb. She spent a lot of time with us (much more than what was initially allotted). Katherine did an excellent job making our vision come to life - we really appreciated that she herself gave input on what colors/design choices would look good instead of leaving every decision up to us. She was also very mindful about what would be appropriate for our budget and very candid in her opinions on which upgrades were worth the additional cost. She researched many custom options after our meetings and was very fast in getting back to us. She went over the placement of the smallest details such as additional outlets, and electric switch controls. Due to numerous questions that we had, she scheduled a virtual appointment after the design studio to make sure every choice we made was correctly reflected in the final blueprint. I cannot emphasize enough how amazing Katherine is - our house would not look as amazing as it does now without her. 3) Home Construction Process: From the time we signed the agreement of sale to closing was ~ 8 months. Jamie and Melissa provided weekly photo updates of the construction process which was amazing. Our project manager, Wes, was also superb and we knew that we were in excellent hands when we first met him during the pre-drywall walkthrough. During these walkthroughs, Wes was very informative and detailed on what we should know as home owners, and gave us excellent anticipatory guidance on how to manage any issues that may come up. Overall, we got the impression that the building process was not rushed with short cuts. Even a third party inspector (not affiliated with Tuskes) who we hired to do a pre drywall inspection said that excellent job was done with no major concerns being found. Our only feedback for this stage of the process is that we wish that we had met/talked with Wes earlier in the process, preferably before home construction began. 4) Warranty Period: We are now 4 months living in our home and we absolutely love it. We have been in touched with Dana from the Warranty team about a few small issues that had come up and she had been fantastic at responding. Whenever a concern was brought up with the Warranty Team, it was fixed extremely quickly. The subcontractors (plumbing, HVAC, electrical) who we have worked with for Warranty fixes have been excellent and quick to schedule repairs. It is very satisfying to see that the the relationship with Tuskes and builders is extremely strong after closing. In conclusion, we could not be more happier in our new home. From start to finish, the entire team at Tuskes that we worked with (and are still currently working it) are fantastic. You have our deepest gratitude.
Our experience overall with Tuskes Homes was very postive. We worked primarily with Greg who was extremely professional, kind, and responsive to all of our questions and concerns. We appreciated the consistent communication and updates on the progress of our home, as well as the immediate response to any concerns we had throughout the building process.
We are very happy with quality of the new house we bought from Tuskes. More importantly, their builder team annd agent are great to work with.
