the mess they created on their first day there was AWFUL....we had tons to clean in the adjacent rooms...with plaster dust etc everywhere and the basement shelves were covered with dust and dirt...and they used our power vacs to do some cleaning...my baby grand piano in another room was covered in white dust....our kitchen counters...stove top..etc had to be cleaned....I THOUGHT THAT YOU WOULD CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF....it wasn't till week six or so when some cleaners came by to clean the new bathroom.....which of course we had already been cleaning all along...we sent them into a few rooms to try and clean the plaster dust from the ceiling fans...base boards....etc that we had possibly missed........however when the real plaster guys came to fix the two front rooms...they did seal off the rooms and used some suction device to get most of the plaster out of the rest of the house....of course there was some but it wasn't at all like that first day (which by the way we weren't away but had left for a few days to get out of their way....the guys who ripped out the cabinets and the floor in the bathroom).... But Mitch was really great.
