I'm having some issues with the door hinges, some screws missing and one hinge tearing out of the frame. Some missing grout and bulging floor tiles. In the master bathroom there is spashed grout on the ceiling and floor pan. Other than that I am happy with the home and would recommend it,but please keep a closser eye on your contractors.
The business part, and all that went great. The quality of Workmans was not good. We have several windows that leak when the wind blows they blow sand in all around the window have the vacuum. After every time it blows talk to maintenance man said it out of his hands we’ve been here less than two months And we have a leak behind the guest bathroom that is ongoing could be a big problem a little things got fixed. We just need the big things fixed.

The home seems well constructed considering it is not a customer build. Woodhill seemed eager to solve any minor issues through good communication, timeliness and execution.
Woodhill is special in that its homes seem more custom than DR Horton and Pahlisch and it builds some high end homes so my expectation is that it would be higher quantity. My experience for a low end home purchase was positive on the design, materials but not on craftsmanship. Maybe due to its use of small contractors and custom work, there were so many small and obvious issues that I see right away when moving in. Even though the superintendent and Woodhill were very responsive, some required multiple fixes and something like painting couldn’t be fixed like new.

I would say there is a bit of mistrust regarding a/c unit being additional and anything extra would be a much higher price than it needed to be. The carpeting is awful and we should have had the choice to do floors. How does anyone put carpet in the dining room area and near the Kitchen island where you are supposed to be able to put stools.
We couldn’t get the key till the afternoon. We had eight or nine men helping us move that day and we had to sit around and wait on the key. It could’ve cost us $900 but the movie came to head hired very accommodating.
The overall experience with the builder has been great, there are a lot of minor quality and paint issues that I’m not sure are normal or not considering this is my first home, however I’ve been pleased with the responsiveness and professionalism from the builder. Would recommend.
