As I was buying long distance, it became quite an ordeal to get the warranty and the walk-through and closing coordinated. The only other issue that I truly have with this house is the placement of the light switches and the electrical plugs. The lights switches are often placed 2 in on the wall. The switches should be closer to where your hand would naturally go to turn them on or off without having to do an arm reach on to the wall. And the situation of my one bedroom, it would’ve made more sense to put the closet light switch on the outside rather than on the left side so I have to reach across to get to it. The electrical plug above the fireplace is placed right on the mantle rather than higher. All of the cords for the TV and other devices are down on the mantle. They should’ve also been a four plug outlet rather than two I will have to pay someone to come move that plug. I would love to move some of the lights switches on the walls. Very inconvenient for decorating and for access. It’s like they just came in and install them without any thought to how they would be used.
