Our buying experience with Mike went well, Mike has been a constant of support. After long delays to move in the unit in our eyes the unit was not fully ready for us with some pretty glaring things like a water leak and our garage door breaking on our first night that only with Mikes help, not Prohome , did it get addressed to keep the building closed from anyone outside the owners of these units. Aaron after the sale has been helpful as our laundry plumbing was backwards and a few other things It is not clear how to communicate issues as Prohome basically has a list, but some issues like our HVAC not running correctly seem to have landmark working on it. We bought with landmark as they have a good reputation, and Mike helped us in the buying process very well. But after moving in some of the issues we have we feel need Landmarks attention, or Prohome to be more supportive. We are confident Landmarks and Prohome will get these issues taken care of but at this point in our major purchase i could not recommend purchasing in this neighborhood. We are available to talk about these things.
While our experience with Landmark Homes was good during the buying process (we love Mike!), our experience since we moved in has been abysmal. We pointed out multiple issues during the blue tape walkthrough two weeks before the closing, and only very minor issues (basically paint touch ups) were addressed prior to closing. We had and continue to have issues with the air conditioning, washing machine, and plumbing (and other details we are keeping track of). The refrigerator panels were damaged and promised to be replaced prior to closing, but this only occurred after closing after multiple emails from us. We have sent multiple emails to both ProHome and Landmark which are either out-of-office responses or "we've passed along your concern." At this point, if I recommend Landmark, it will be with a giant caution regarding post-closing care and responsiveness. It feels like, "Now you're in, we don't care."
