The reason for my full confidence in Meritage Homes at Riviera Pines, is due to Cole. He is my construction manager to my home. From day one, Cole has kept his word. He has made sure, that my attention to the each detail is heard. He has taken my concerns and addressed them, to resolve the issues even though it was part of a bad design. Cole was one of very few from Meritage Homes to keep his word and what was agreed on. Cole is the one that made dealing with Meritage Homes better.

I am writing to share my exceptional experience with Meritage Homes, and more specifically to recognize the outstanding professionalism, dedication, and service provided by Construction Manager Carter. As someone who travels extensively for a living and has encountered a wide range of customer service experiences across industries and around the world, I can say with complete confidence that the level of service I received throughout this homebuilding process was truly unmatched. From the very beginning of my journey with Meritage Homes, the process was handled with a level of care, transparency, and organization that immediately set a positive tone. Purchasing and building a home can often feel overwhelming, especially with the number of moving parts involved, but the experience was made significantly smoother because of the communication and structure provided by the team. What stood out most, however, was the consistent involvement and leadership of Carter. Carter demonstrated a level of professionalism that goes far beyond standard expectations. Throughout the entire construction process, he kept me informed at every stage. Whether it was updates on progress, timelines, or addressing any questions I had, he ensured I was never left in the dark. That level of communication created a strong sense of trust and confidence, which is incredibly important when making such a significant investment. Overall the experience was good. I just have issues with walk the through right before closing. The closing walk through was scheduled two hours before our closing time. Also we had to drive an hour to close. So the walk through seemed rush. During this walk through I discovered an issue that I believed to be resolved by replacing exterior trim was actually just caulked and painted. I believed after speaking with Steven that the board would be replaced. I waited a couple weeks after closing to see if the issue would be resolved. The issue was never addressed so I emailed Steven the construction manager about this issue and others. I received no response from him. I then emailed warranty and Laurel responded and said Steven would be responding. Steven emailed me about a week later stating he ordered items to fix issues and would hopefully fix them the following week. I waited one week and received no response. I have now emailed Laurel & Steven again and I am waiting for a response.
