Review of Overall Experience

First, I would like to recognize Nick, the Construction Manager, for his exceptional work. Nick was professional, communicative, and organized throughout the process. He kept me updated at every stage of construction, addressed all of my questions thoroughly, and ensured the home was delivered with great quality and attention to detail. I truly appreciate his professionalism and commitment — he made the construction process smooth and reassuring. Unfortunately, my experience with Audra, the Sales Associate, was extremely disappointing and, frankly, frustrating. Over a span of three to five months, her service created unnecessary confusion, stress, and delays. Throughout the process, I encountered multiple instances of misinformation and poor communication. Audra repeatedly provided incorrect information regarding the selection of escrow and title companies, which caused unnecessary back-and-forth and confusion. She also assured me that the pond behind the property would not hold water, which turned out to be completely inaccurate — it does hold water, directly contradicting what I was told. Additionally, her communication style and conduct were often unprofessional and unnecessarily aggressive. She made comments such as “We would only meet when the numbers are finalized.” However, once the numbers were finalized, the initial offer did not go through. Following that, she asked me to come into her office with my checkbook — implying that everything was ready to proceed — only for the transaction to fall apart again. This created a great deal of inconvenience and wasted effort on my part. Audra also failed to properly schedule the third-party inspection, and as a result, no one from Meritage Homes attended on behalf of the builder. This left me without representation from the Meritage team during a critical stage of the process. Even after closing, when I reached out to her with a security-related question, she never responded. Buying a home is one of the most important investments a person makes, and unfortunately, the sales experience was far below acceptable standards. While I am very pleased with the home itself and the exceptional professionalism of Nick and the construction team, the sales experience with Audra completely undermined what should have been a positive journey. Given the prolonged and unproductive experience I had with Audra, I would not recommend Meritage Homes to others based on my interactions with her. My dissatisfaction has nothing to do with Nick or the construction side — Nick and his team were excellent and deserve recognition for their outstanding work, integrity, and communication.

My friend Recommend me and Reese explained everything nicely and i convinced my self that i am bying this house. Susan from finance side she was awesome and explained very well. Chase was helpful at the closing time and fixed our issues
