Coming in as a realtor I had really high expectations and have always heard wonderful things about Meritage. There were too many warranty items and the home was not quite prepared for our move in. There were many things that my husband repaired himself and decided not to reach out to warranty. The flooding that happens when it rains has been addressed and submitted to warranty however they claim if the water recedes in 24/48 hours then there is nothing they need to do. It’s always a puddle when walking into the back door from the garage to the house. Very disappointing . There is so much more.

We had a wonderful experience with Meritage Homes from start to finish. The entire process was smooth, and the team was always professional, responsive, and willing to help answer any questions we had along the way. A special thank you to Tamika and Chase, who were absolutely amazing to work with. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and always went above and beyond to make sure we felt supported throughout the process. Communications from Warranty team are great. Brett was awesome in giving a run down of how claims work etc and some good tips on how to resolve some simple ones. Other then that very disappointing quality off windows… out of 12 windows 10 are leaking and that just speaks about the material quality that Meritage is using… I should not be thinking about window replacement in a brand new home. And a basic re-sealing is not a fix, it’s just a band-aid on larger quality issues.
