Would change the communication between the workers and the construction manager (who I understand as of this week is no longer working for Meritage) My issue has been ongoing since the day we moved in 9/30/19 . Our master shower leaked profusely into the basement bathroom, ruining the entire basement bathroom ceiling, to date 12/8/19 it has not been completely finished, the entire tiled shower floor had to be ripped up, some plumbing work was done, they started to re tile the shower floor again and they forgot to put something else in, the construction manager was having someone else come out to put something else in, there are 4 holes in the basement bathroom ceiling, its just been a real mess.

Would Change

Have better organized person doing the job of assuring quality work. They started using design items from a spec home by mistake and had to tear it out. Multiple electrical issues upon move in. Jammed garbage disposal, non functioning dishwasher, light switches not wired correctly, thermostat never properly set to wrong time and 2018 for year. Worst and most stressful move of our lives. Wish we had never built the house.
