I am extremely angry with the loan officer and LoanDepot itself. My first loan officer was John. He originally quoted my monthly payment as something that was less than our current mortgage. Less by $200. Then the day before closing on the house, I get the closing disclosure which was $250 more than originally quoted by John. I called them about it. I talked to Paul. He told me that John has been fired and no longer works there so he will be taking the loan over from here. John had miscalculated the taxes with my payment so now my payment is $250 more a month than what John quoted me. I will stress, this is the day before I’m supposed to close. We are moving from Utah to Tennessee. We sold our house in Utah and have been staying in a hotel for the last week and a half. I had no other option than this house and this loan. You are putting a gun to my head and saying I have to accept this additional payment. If I didn’t then it would be additional thousands and thousands of dollars and months to find a new house, and try to find somewhere to stay in the mean time. When bringing this problem up with Paul the only thing he offered was a $250 Home Depot gift card. This only covers 1 month. That’s not good enough. This is a small mistake for you, but for me this is something I’m now having to deal with for the next 30 years. This is completely unacceptable. If I was told the correct payment at the beginning, than we would have made different decisions. I hope someone actually steps up to the plate to make this right by me.

Here’s a cleaner two-paragraph version you can use: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review for Trevor If construction managers were superheroes, Trevor would be wearing a cape made of blueprints and carrying a golden nail gun. From day one of building my new Meritage home, Trevor handled everything like an absolute legend. Questions were answered immediately, problems were solved before I even noticed them, and the entire process was smoother than I ever imagined. He somehow managed to make building a home feel stress-free, which honestly deserves an award by itself. At this point, Trevor deserves a fully paid vacation, a brand-new Lamborghini, a steakhouse dinner fit for royalty, and a free massage for carrying this entire construction process on his back. All hail the king of construction managers. The craftsmanship, communication, and attention to detail were so good that I’m seriously considering naming my firstborn son Trevor in his honor. If you get Trevor as your construction manager, congratulations — you already won the lottery. Yours Truly Spencer

I am grateful for our builder's (Nathan) attention to our needs. He has checked in on us after the sale and we are appreciative of this. I am concerned by an email I received from Angie, however, pertaining to "homeowner responsibilities that are not completed during construction and must be completed by the homeowner". Namely the following: - Caulking of all bathtubs, sinks, and faucets - Sealing grout for all flooring - Sealing shower grout with a waterproof sealer to prevent moisture migration outside of the shower - Applying silicone sealant to both the interior and exterior of all shower door tracks - Applying caulking along interior window frames - Applying exterior silicone sealant around all exterior windows These items appear to have been completed as they should be, but I am concerned that Meritage would even consider building a home that has not been properly sealed and leave it to the homeowner to make these adjustments. If it weren't for Nathan, Meritage would not have received the scores that I gave you.

My overall experience with Hermitage was incredible, and remains so. Melissa from the MTH mortgage team was absolutely amazing. Kim on the other hand, made this one of the most difficult processes I have been a part of. Reese, from the sales team was an absolute joy and pleasure to work along side of. She was very responsive and attentive. Trevor, has been the freshest breath of air in this process. He is caring, attentive, knowledgeable, and all-around helpful!

it has been good, the quality is not as great as said mostly the paint, there is one layer over drywall it is marks easily and torn with a sickly command hook
