Review of Overall Experience

We have owned multiple homes in our lifetimes, and we have been through the construction process before. This has been, hands down, the WORST experience of our home-buying lives. The communication throughout the whole process has been pathetic, and there have been soooooo many things wrong with this house (still having to deal with issues 6 weeks after closing). I want to make the distinction that, though we had some rough patches early on, Shane has been the ONLY person who has actually been helpful as we have had to navigate all of these problems. Note that, when answering the community/construction staff questions - my answers pertain to Shane and Shane only. The Meritage sales rep has been useless.
