I've been impressed with Pacesetter overall. The details the make a home special and unique is what drew me to them as a homebuilder. Everyone has been lovely with helping getting the house done and taking care of any lingering issues. I would recommend Pacesetter to anyone!
Thank you for your strong review and your willingness to recommend us. Enjoy your new home.
The house is great and it is good to be home but I was promised a white glove experience while buying the home and that is just not what I received. My account was given to sales representative as he was being moved to a new neighborhood but we were assured we would retain a high level of care and attention but all we received was excuses, extreme delays, limited options, a snarky sales representative, and a constantly disgusting job site. I can understand about delays during a global pandemic with supply chain issues BUT why did it take constant complaints to get the builder to remove the beer cans and cumulated lunch garbage stuffed into every nook and cranny of my then future home. Also being in a global pandemic it felt like the builder did not plan to mitigate the delays created by know supply chain issues it felt like they were just kicking the can down the road and shrugging their shoulders with no real thought being given how to best deal with the situation everyone was facing. From my vantage point other builders in the neighborhood were dealing with what they could and moving forward albeit at slower paces, but Pacesetter acted like a deer in the headlights and froze everything when they did not what to do, over and over again for a year and half. It felt like my wife and I were the only people that actually cared about our home the Pacesetter sales representative left only a snarky attitude, the same excuses over and over, platitudes, and a veneer of concern. Our home had a total of three construction managers each passing the torch to the next without a lot communication to each other. The delay on our home was six months past the time they told us and when we did finally get in, they gave a home with a dead lawn, broken windows, a shower that can’t be used. I am still waiting to see what excuses they have in fold for me on that front, but to be honest I don't think Pacesetter cares at all about what I think and would be greatly surprised if they ever really did. There are at least 15 outstanding items that should have been addressed at or just after close that have now gone past 60 days with no formal communication from Pacesetter.
Thank you for your feedback. We are disappointed we have let you down and regret the multiple changes in personnel during the building process. We will be reaching out to address your issues and concerns. Thank you again for taking the time to provide your feedback.
